The Redring stored water heater is an easy solution for providing instant hot water when you can't connect to or draw from the existing hot water supply, or where there's no hot water solution at all. Ideal for annexes, extensions, room conversions, outbuildings, offices and lock up units. This model is unvented so just requires a mains cold water connection and a 13-Amp power socket to plug into; it's quick and easy to install. The 15 Litre capacity is ideal to provide instant hot water for small water usage situations, such as a single kitchen sink or multiple hand wash basins. Designed to fit beneath the sink or basins, the unit can be wall or floor mounted. The compact size allows it to fit into cabinetry underneath the sink. The 2kW element heats water and efficiently keeps it stored at temperature ready for call off as required. The adjustable thermostat control is clearly marked to select the water temperature required, to a maximum of 70oC. The control dial is popped up to set or adjust the water temperature, then pushed back in to prevent accidental adjustment. The push button switch turns off and on while the LED's illuminate to indicate heating and standee mode. It takes just 24 minutes from initial switch on to heat a full fill of water from 15 to 60oC; subsequent refills can be heated up to temperature even more quickly depending on the volume of water drawn off. The water tanks is stainless steel with a glass ceramic outer and the thermal insulation ensures the stored water is efficiently kept at temperature. The built-in thermal cut-out protects the unit from overheating. Inside a magnesium anode prevents scale build up around the elements and is easily accessed by removal of the cover flange.
